Andy lasson is an artist, Animator, Film maker, and game designer. He is the co-founder along with Sam walker of Tim is Ham studio. Most recently, Andy is directing a short film with sam temorarally refered to as “Dweebuth’s Journey”. It is soon to be released this Spring 2025. andy is also currently leading the design for a new game set to be released may 18th, 2025.
He holds a great love for classical animation and the “old fashion” way of making films. His favorite animators and greatest inspirations include Shinya Ohira, Richard Williams, Hayao Miyazaki, Masaaki Yuasa, Taiyo Matsumoto, Moebius, and Yuki Urushibara. His Favorite Media include “Mind game” (2004), “The tale of Princess Kaguya” (2013), “The taste of Tea” (2004), “mUSHIshi ” (1999-2008), “The Wind Rises” (2013), and “FEZ” (2012).
His lofty asperations are to master the medium of animation (if such a thing can be done) and to build tim is ham studio into a great force of film making able to revive the art of 2d animation in the united states.
